Most recently Sünje co-headed the conception and launch of CERN’s Open Source Program Office (OSPO) which is a community driven initiative at CERN to support consistent Open Source practices of software and hardware at CERN. Before, she co-founded CERN Open Data, a service to publish petabites of research data in the open and she served on various boards, expert committees etc to make research more accessible, fairer, more inclusive and trustworthy for everyone.

We are thrilled to have Sünje as a keynote speaker at FOSS Backstage 2024!

Update: Unfortunately Sünje won’t be able to deliver the keynote at FOSS Backstage. But we are happy to announce that Giacomo Tenaglia, a colleague a Sünje’s, will step in.
