We are thrilled to announce our lightning talk session at FOSS Backstage this year! Lightning Talks have often been a part of the scheduled program, but this year we want to return to return to the basic idea behind lightning talks and have impromptu talks of five minutes during a dedicated session at the end of the first conference day! Afterwards, our traditional get together offers plenty of time to talk about the ideas sparked by lighting (talks).
We want you to present your short ideas, pitches, use-cases or philosophical musings about community, management, and compliance in Free and Open Source Software at FOSS Backstage this year!
What?
Lightning talks at FOSS Backstage are short, five minute presentations, covering a specific idea or topic.
When?
Lightning Talks will take place on the first conference day, on Stage Auditorium at 17:10 CET.
How to participate?
Submit your talk idea to lightning@foss-backstage.de.
The deadline for submissions is on Monday March 4th at 14:00 CET.
make sure to include:
- your name
- a fun fact about yourself
- and of course the topic you want to talk about
- (optionally) your slides as PDF with your full name in the file name
Accepted speakers will be notified by email between the lunch and coffee break. Remote presentation is not possible.
We are very much looking forward to your lightning ideas! If you haven’t already, get your ticket for FOSS Backstage now and join us for two days of exciting talks and speakers!
